I'm a freelance marine IT specialist based worldwide, providing hands-on technical support to cargo and passenger vessels during port calls. With experience across shipboard network infrastructure, satellite and VSAT communication systems, and onboard server environments, I keep vessels connected and operational.
I work directly with captains, chief officers, and fleet managers — on short notice, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to vessel operations.

Network infrastructure
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of onboard LAN/WAN networks, managed switches, access points, and firewall systems aboard cargo and passenger vessels.
Communication systems
Setup and maintenance of VSAT, Fleet Broadband, 4G/LTE antennas, and integrated ship communication systems. Signal diagnostics and provider coordination.
Server & systems support
On-site server maintenance, OS installation, data backup, and recovery for shipboard servers. Windows Server, Linux, and voyage management software environments.
IT troubleshooting
Rapid diagnosis and resolution of IT failures at port — hardware faults, connectivity outages, software issues, and crew device support across all vessel departments.
